Estão disponíveis, desde o início do mês, as candidaturas de todos os festivais de música europeus realizados em 2014, para os European Festival Awards (que fará a entrega de prémios a 15 de Janeiro de 2015, em Groningen, ao abrigo do Eurosonic).
Em Portugal, já existiram festivais nomeados (e.g. Optimus Alive; Milhões de Festa; Rock no Rio Sado) e um vencedor (Boom Festival, em 2010, na categoria Green’n’Clean Festival of the Year) ao longo das edições anteriores destes prémios.
Cada candidatura submetida e validada, coloca automaticamente a nomeação do festival nas categorias - Best Major, Medium or Small Festival – consoante a capacidade do mesmo.
